Personal Reflections – Summer 2015

Ronnie and I have enjoyed this summer. I have kept busy with other things besides writing.

In July I completed a continuing education class which added to my skills: Publishing and Selling Your E-Books Online. I had hoped to have a completed e-book by the end of the class, but I now want to add to what I already have for that first e-book.

In July, Ronnie and I celebrated our 24th anniversary in Branson, Missouri, went on to Morehead, Kentucky for a family reunion (Ronnie’s side) and then on our return stopped for some other sites. We continue to read our letters of 25 years ago; we are now reliving our engagement and marriage preparation.

We must never forget!  Five of seven Dail siblings in Morehead! Mansfield, MO – Laura Ingalls Wilder remembered.

Our summer schedule has given some rest and time to enjoy other activities. We have given a number of non-test assessments and Brain Training assessments. Summer remains a great time for assessing our children and making plans for the school year. We enjoy assisting families in this process.

We can now help more families as we have Laura Barnes working with us. Laura serves as a Brain Trainer following an assessment with Maggie. Also, she serves as a Menu Coach. What is a Menu Coach, you ask? Many of our clients / students benefit from changes in their diet. Following a new plan and cooking differently can overwhelm the mother who works with her child. Laura provides a week of breakfasts, lunches, and dinners plus snacks and desserts – recipes and help with shopping. She provides support for those who purchase her menu plan.

I am just about ready for a more consistent schedule – while I work all year around, summer definitely gives opportunity to breathe. We would love to hear about your summers.

We are now scheduling for September through October.
